Students at Lynwood Elementary School celebrated May 4, widely known as Star Wars Day, with imagination, enthusiasm and a galaxy’s worth of creativity.

In Mrs. Levesque’s first grade class, students designed and measured their own Star Wars characters, blending art and math in a fun, engaging activity that brought their favorite heroes and villains to life.

Meanwhile, Ms. Amallobieta’s fourth grade class went above and beyond by transforming their entire classroom into a Star Wars-themed space. Students wrote and performed original scenes and analyzed key themes from the Star Wars films, turning the celebration into a dynamic lesson in writing, performance and critical thinking.

The force was definitely strong at Lynwood, where students boldly combined learning with the excitement of a galaxy far, far away.
